Kineo and Canon won a silver award at the prestigious E-learning Age Awards in London in November 2009. The award was for a fast paced e-learning project for sales staff delivered using Moodle, the open source Learning Management System.
The E-learning Age awards, now in their sixth year, recognise excellence in the e-learning industry. The awards were announced at a gala dinner in London on November 12th. Kineo was chosen as a silver award winner by a panel of judges, comprising experts in the industry.
The Canon project required sales staff to be trained in multiple languages and it was important to achieve:
- An engaging e-learning design that reflected Canon’s values.
- A fast track collaborative development process.
- A fast, low cost delivery model, that tracked learner progress
The solution was a highly creative Flash based e-learning development delivered using a customised version of Moodle, the open source LMS.
Steve Rayson, Kineo Managing Partner, says, “We are very pleased to win this award for the second year in a row. This is a great tribute to the teams at Canon and Kineo, and the partnership approach taken to developing e-learning solutions.”
