Sub-prime loan firm Cattles has appointed Welcome Financial Services HR director Lucy Calver to “implement a group-wide approach to HR strategy”.

Cattles, a FTSE-250 financial services provider, announced a series of senior management appointments yesterday to sit on its executive committee.

Calver’s appointment “reflects the importance of maximising all colleagues’ career potential to underpin the group’s growth” according to the company.

David Postings, Cattles’ chief executive, said: “I am very pleased to make these three significant appointments, which add complementary skills to the existing team and create exciting development opportunities.

“Cattles operates in a market which offers enormous scope for growth, and the application for a banking licence and expansion of the management team will best position us to take advantage of this over the medium-term.”
