The London 2012 Olympic bid team has signed a deal with technology firm Northgate HR for the supply of payroll software and services.

The bid team, which started in summer 2003 with a team of six and managed its payroll manually, now employs around 90 full- and part-time staff, and needed a more sophisticated service to meet its changing needs.
“The support given by Northgate HR and the company’s other corporate supporters’ can only enhance our chances of bringing the games to London,” said Neil Wood, director of finance for London 2012.
