Michele Moore has been appointed head of learning and development at caterer Elior UK. She will oversee all training initiatives and talent management and was previously corporate training and development manager at Le Méridien Hotels and Resorts.

Michael Pitfield, director of international business at Henley Management College, has retired. Pitfield will become a non-executive director at development firm Endless Perception.

Stephen Perkins has become a professor of human resource management at London Metropolitan University. Perkins was formerly HR director at National Power.
