Jenny Watson has been appointed as chairwoman of the Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC). She was first appointed as a commissioner of the EOC in 1999 before becoming deputy chairwoman in 2000 and acting chairwoman from July 2005.

The Chartered Institute of Marketing has appointed Helen Sheehy as HR manager. She joins from in-flight caterer Gate Gourmet, where she was HR manager.
Sue Turner has joined The Body Shop as group HR director. She moves to the retailer after six years at Barclays, where, most recently, she was HR director at Barclaycard.
