On the move: Justine Steele, Nigel Clemson and Carol Ashton

Justine Steele has joined Operon as HR director, having previously held the same post at JCT600. Steele will work with other operations directors to ensure that Operon has a well-motivated workforce.

Aviva Investors has appointed Nigel Clemson as HR director. Clemson joined the company from Credit Suisse, where he held the same position. His remit will include developing and implementing HR strategies, policies and procedures covering recruitment, reward, performance and structure.

Carol Ashton has joined DLA Piper as international HR director from Ernst & Young, where she was chief HR officer. She will be responsible for more than 130 HR professionals and will build on existing HR strategies, including partner performance management, training and development and diversity.
