The Royal Bank of Scotland group has appointed Lynne Burns as its head of diversity. Having spent more than a decade within the group in a variety of senior management positions, Burns brings a wealth of experience to her new role. “It is vital that we create an environment that allows our existing talent to flourish and attracts future talent from outside,” she said.

Ethical bank Triodos has announced the appointment of two new members to its HR team. Jacqui Brophy has been recruited as the bank’s new HR manager. She will be supported by Lucy Marigold in a new role as HR officer for the organisation. Prior to joining the company, Brophy worked in financial services and manufacturing.

BT has created a new HR post to improve the effectiveness of the company’s talent assessment and career development. Alan Davis has been appointed as group talent and HR strategy director with effect from 1 May. He will be responsible for talent acquisition, identification, development, management and retention practices.
