On the move: Tony Williams, Jonathan Duckworth and Maria Horn

Tony Williams has joined retailer Kingfisher as group HR director. Williams has previously held senior HR roles in firms including Marconi, WH Smith, IPC Media and most recently Carlton Communications where he was group HR director. He replaces Tony Stanworth who is taking early retirement.

Racecourse Holdings Trust has appointed Jonathan Duckworth as group HR director. He has an 18-year track record in lead HR roles with major employers, such as the Rugby Football Union, the Royal Opera House, motorcycle manufacturer Harley-Davidson and English Heritage.

Maria Horn has joined coffee shop brand Costa Coffee as its new HR director. She worked for parent company Whitbread for two years and transfers from Marriott Hotels, where she held the position of group HR manager. Prior to this, she was HR director for Whitbread’s new business development team.
