Today marks the launch of the biggest and brightest event in the HR calendar – the Personnel Today Awards 2015.

Organisations can submit their entries from now until the deadline of 12 June 2015 for their chance to join the 1,000 guests anticipated at this year’s prestigious event.

The Personnel Today Awards recognise HR teams and individuals that have made an impact with their people policies and have delivered tangible benefits to their organisation.

If you and your HR colleagues have led an innovative project, driven down costs, been courageous in implementing change or achieved great results in the past 18 months, then you could be a winner of one of our coveted awards, which are presented at a glittering ceremony at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane on 30 November 2015.

After receiving such high-quality entries for the Youth Employment Initiative category, the decision was made to introduce an award for the best graduate scheme.

“There’s a real battle for talent out there,” said Personnel Today editor Rob Moss. “The Graduate Scheme of the Year recognises not only the recruitment challenges in attracting the best mix of people to your organisation but also the learning and development those people receive when they’re in place.”

The award for supplier partnerships, which aims to honour the input of suppliers to the profession, returns for a second year. This award is only open to entry from suppliers nominated by entrants to the other categories in the Personnel Today Awards.

Nominated suppliers will be invited to enter after the entry deadline. But Moss recommends that they get to work now on securing a nomination. “The suppliers to the profession can only enter the HR Supplier Partnership Award if they are cited in another, so they need to work with their clients to make sure they enter.” Suppliers can also enter on behalf of their clients, with permission.

Full details of all of the awards categories are on the categories page.

Last year, McDonald’s Restaurants claimed the coveted overall award, having beaten competition from entrants in 22 categories, including teams and individuals from 114 shortlisted organisations.

Each category is independently judged by well-respected industry figures. Judging begins after the entry deadline and category shortlists are announced in July.
