Ethnic police officers are set to benefit from a new scheme
designed to help retain and promote black officers.
A successful pilot of the Personal Leadership Programme is
being rolled out by the National Black Police Association.
The programme has been developed by Centrex, part of the
Central Police Training and Development Authority, and is designed to improve
the retention, progression and recruitment of minority, ethnic staff in the
police service.
