Online job recruitment activity across the UK saw a general upward trend over the past five months, according to findings of the Monster Employment Index.
While the findings for May were essentially unchanged from April, the index remained near its highest level since its inception in December 2004.

Occupations showing the greatest increases in job availability in May were the Armed Forces and non-skilled positions, while demand for professionals, technicians and clerks showed solid growth over the past six months.
