Cable television broadcaster NTL is preparing to announce a shake-up which could result in thousands of job losses, according to newspaper reports.
The Mail on Sunday said NTL was planning to cut 6,000 jobs and outsource its call centre operations.
The Independent on Sunday, meanwhile, said 4,000 jobs at NTL would go.
NTL is in the middle of revamping its operations after announcing takeover deals with smaller cable firm Telewest and telecoms group Virgin Mobile.
