Recruitment firms blind to older staff role models

Funnily enough, I noticed exactly the same thing in the Sunday Times list (Personnel Today, 7 March). Few companies employed people aged over 55 – and many of them were recruitment companies.

No wonder mature jobseekers fail the selection test when many recruiters have no positive role models of older employees in their own working lives.
