The
TUC has launched a weekly health and safety e-bulletin.
It is
open to anyone who registers on the TUC website and is called Risk.
It
launched coincided with the TUC’s conference on unions and the Internet last
weekend.
Speaking
at a recent TUC conference on the Internet, the union’s head of campaigns and
communications Nigel Stanley commented, “The dotcom bubble may have burst, but
the Internet offers huge potential for unions.
“We
can use it as a new way to provide services direct to our members. It means
that unions can link up worldwide, which is vital as the economy becomes more
globalised everyday. And most excitingly it means we can take the union message
to every online workplace.”
RISKS
can be signed up for at www.tuc.org.uk/newsroom/register.cfm
