The Royal Borough of Kingston is to implement a new voluntary benefits programme for its 4,000 employees, provided by Asperity Employee Benefits.
The tailor-made benefits programme, ‘One Council One Reward’, is due to launch this November on Asperity’s Reward Gateway platform and will enable employees at the council to enjoy a range of discounts and offers at over 1,500 various retailers online and in-store.
David Ward, Pay & Rewards Manager at Royal Borough of Kingston, said:
“We know from our staff surveys that it’s really important that our employees feel valued, and that they are happy with the employment package we offer them.
“We chose Asperity’s Reward Gateway platform because it gives us a unique way of increasing the spending power of all our staff, particularly relevant in the current economic climate.
“The range of discounts and offers is very wide and includes many of the names to be found in the high street locally. We think cashbacks, managed through personal online accounts, will be particularly attractive to our staff.
“We were also impressed by the ability to brand and customise the rewards website to suit the Royal Borough of Kingston and to link to our other non-pay rewards.”

“We are really pleased to be working with another local government client, and we’re confident that our extensive experience with public sector clients will help to make this scheme a great success for the Royal Borough of Kingston.
“One Council One Reward will be launching on Version 3 of Reward Gateway, which has some great new features and will bring significant value to employees.”
