Students awarded for outstanding achievement to learning

Bolton based training provider, Alliance Learning have held a ceremony to honour the success of their NVQ, Apprenticeship and staff learners.

Students and staff from all 3 of Alliance Learning’s training centres were in attendance to receive their certificates from Chief Executive, Steve Whitehead.

The presentation ceremony awarded excellence across all aspects of the Apprenticeship and NVQ programmes. These included Engineering, Children’s Care Learning & Development, Health & Social Care and Business Administration to name a few.

The event, which was held at Alliance Learning’s Horwich site, included a speech from Steve Whitehead with a personal introduction to each learner in attendance.

Commenting on the importance of the presentation, Chief Executive of Alliance Learning, Steve Whitehead said:

“The presentation ceremony is a significant part of the academic year for us as we feel it’s important to give all the learners a platform on which to realise their individual achievements.

“Even through a tough economic time our learners have shown unwavering determination and drive across all aspects of their learning development. We would like to wish all our student and staff learners the best of luck with their future career paths.”

Following on from her Apprenticeship in Business Administration, Maureen Harrison, Senior Financial Administrator at Alliance Learning and recipient at the presentation ceremony added her comments:

“I think people have a certain perception about Apprenticeships and commercial courses being for a certain age and skill level, but there are courses to help people from a variety of industry sectors with little or extensive experience. Enriching career prospects is something every employer and employee should consider for the commercial development of their company.”
