ThirdForce, the UK’s leading e-learning provider, is proud to announce the launch of a computer based training and testing package that allows all staff in the hospitality sector to obtain their National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders (NCPLH) qualification whilst at work.
Licensing law in England and Wales states that anyone who authorises the sale of alcohol to the public must hold a personal licence. Those who wish to obtain a personal licence need to apply to their local authority. Applicants will be asked for proof that they hold a licensing qualification such as the NCPLH.
The innovative package of the NCPLH course and the online test allows staff to learn all they need to know about safe and compliant service. e-Learners can enhance their knowledge on the strengths of alcoholic drinks and also the effects of alcohol on the human body. Ultimately, the package allows staff to perform the online test on the working premises, making learning much more convenient.
James Evans, Head of Corporate Sales of ThirdForce said: “The common perception that staff must be sent for classroom based training to learn their sector specific skills leads to huge financial costs and inconvenience for the employees. e-Learning offers a solution to these barriers to training, as it eliminates travel expenses, time out of work, the seeking of staff cover and inconsistent teaching and learning.”
