Ceridian Centrefile, a provider of managed HR solutions, has appointed Jan Wohlman as HR director. She rejoins Ceridian, where she was previously head of HR. Her earlier experience includes three years as a consultant, plus senior HR positions at Wang Global and Galileo International.
Employee consultation specialist the European Study Group has strengthened its team. Michael Squires has been appointed non-executive chairman and brings 20 years’ experience from the executive search industry. John Boyd (pictured right) joins as chief executive. He was formerly HR director of BASF’s global pharmaceutical business and has managed his own consultancy.

Security services company Group 4 Securicor has announced the appointment of Liz Ogden as HR director. She will be responsible for HR strategy for the business’s 19,000 staff. Ogden previously worked for Securicor Security as HR director, and in NatWest Group’s financial services division.
Sir Paul Judge has been elected president of the Chartered Management Institute. Judge has had a distinguished career, starting at Cadbury Schweppes in 1973 and moving through the ranks to become group planning director. He has subsequently been director-general of the Conservative Party, and a ministerial adviser at the Cabinet Office.
