Manufacturing staff at Rolls Royce are
being put on to a three-day week after a slump in sales following the US terror
attack.
The 800 staff affected at the
Rolls-Royce and Bentley plant in Crewe will move to the new hours following a
60 per cent drop in the US market for luxury cars.
The Times newspaper reports that the
entire 2,500 workforce at Crewe will also take an extra three days holiday over
Christmas, because of the sales reduction.
