UK spends more than 50 per cent of time at work unproductively

The
report by management consultants Proudfoot Consulting shows that 52 per cent of
work time is wasted in the UK, compared to 43 per cent in the US, France,
Germany, Hungary and Austria.

The
study of over 1,500 staff blames inadequate or overcomplicated management as
the biggest cause of unproductive time. Low morale is also a problem, reports
the Financial Times.
