Walkout leaves Royal Mail managers delivering post

Royal
Mail managers are delivering post to thousands of homes after postal workers
voted to continue a strike.

According
to the BBC, 50 workers at a delivery office in Castle Bromwich walked out on
Tuesday in a dispute over staffing levels.

Due
to the strike, 9,000 residents living in areas of Birmingham did not receive
any mail.

Forty
Royal Mail managers have been drafted in to deliver post.

Staff
are angry that their overtime hours have been cut, but the Royal Mail said this
was normal at this time of year.
