The South West’s primary water provider, Wessex Water, launched their new voluntary benefits scheme with Asperity Employee Benefits in record time last month.
The tailor-made scheme, Wessex Water Reward Gateway, was implemented just one week after Asperity’s successful pitch.
The scheme offers Wessex’s 1800 employees a range of discounts and offers at over 1,500 various retailers online and in-store.
In January the scheme will expand to include Childcare Vouchers by salary sacrifice, taking advantage of Asperity’s fully integrated online platform.
This will allow Wessex staff to access discounts and salary sacrifice benefits through a single website login and will allow Wessex Water to view integrated management information across the benefits.
Jane Ginnever, HR Advisor at Wessex Water, said:
“We were keen to find a provider who could offer us a smooth and swift transition to a programme that we felt our employees would really value.
“Asperity’s excellent reputation in the marketplace, along with their professionalism in handling the programme’s implementation, was a confidence-booster for us. In the short time since implementation, the Wessex Water Reward Gateway programme has already proved a success with our employees.”

Ross Musgrove, from Asperity, said:
“The fast-track launch of Wessex Water Reward Gateway was a challenge for us and we are delighted that it has been so successful already. Over 33% of staff registered for the service within the first week of launch and this figure will increase as our tailored communications plan is implemented throughout the year.”
