A Tesco employee suspended from his job during a police investigation into the murders of prostitutes in Suffolk is still awaiting a decision on whether he can return to work.
Tom Stephens was suspended after being identified as a suspect in the investigation into the murders of five prostitutes in Ipswich in December 2006. He has since been released without charge.
A spokesman for the supermarket giant told Personnel Today: “An investigation is still ongoing and we hope to announce a decision in due course.”
Meanwhile, Greg Jones, head of HR at South Wales Police, also remains suspended from his position, a spokesman for the police force said.
