The first step will be for Bowland to work with SCC to design a framework which will clearly set out the desired behaviours across three tiers of management.
This framework will form the basis for the 360 degree feedback process which managers will go through as part of their learning and development within the new Management Academy programme.
This extensive programme, which will see in excess of 500 managers attend a series of learning events, is further evidence of the Council’s commitment to improve management performance and support their effective development.
John Rice, sales and marketing director of Bowland Solutions, said: “We are delighted to be involved in this project as we will be helping to create SCC’s behavioural framework from first principles, as well as delivering a tailored on-line system, so it plays to our strengths both in HR and IT.”
Bowland Solutions has been providing tailored on-line performance reviews, 360-degree feedback, surveys and HR consultancy since 2001.
