Communications provider Opal Telecom has appointed Dominic Mellonie as HR director. Most recently, he was HR director at Sunterra Europe, responsible for all pan-European HR strategy and operations, with reporting HR teams in UK, France, Spain, Germany, Italy and Portugal.
Lynette Brown has joined nationwide childcare company Herts Care as HR and training manager.
Paul Hepworth has been appointed HR manager at freight and logistics company Exel. He previously worked for MG Rover.
Marketing consultancy 141 Worldwide (UK) has recruited Veronica Wheatley to the new position of HR director. She joins from the Ogilvy Group, where she was director of learning and development. Prior to that, she was head of training services at the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising.
