Beresford Blake Thomas (BBT), a specialist global recruitment consultancy, has launched an internet-based video CV service that enables candidates to present their credentials to prospective employers by video, at no cost to themselves.
BBT is providing the new service in partnership with Jobs2View, which designed the technology platform for the video CVs.
By using a video CV, candidates have an advantage over other job applicants that are only able to present themselves via their written CV.
Employers gain by having the opportunity to witness candidates’ presentation skills and personalities in a way not possible with traditional CVs.
Clients are also able to use the service to promote, with a more personnel approach, their company and specific projects they are recruiting for.
Peter Reynolds, Founder and CEO of BBT, said:
“We are delighted to be an early-adopter of this new approach to matching candidates with employers. Being able to see and listen to candidates via video CV will help employers speed up their recruitment processes. Video CVs will be especially useful for our Global Resourcing Division which recruits people on an international basis for clients.
“Already, we use video conferencing to present candidates to employers but video CVs will enable us to add further value to both parties by connecting them together in a faster and simpler format.”
Jobs2view is the world’s only video CV sending service.
