British Airways cabin crew strike called off

A planned two-day strike by thousands of British Airways cabin crew has been called off at the eleventh-hour.
 
Talks between BA and the Transport and General Workers Union had been taking place over the weekend and this morning to try and avert tomorrow’s planned 48-hour strike.

BA management and union leaders said an agreement had been reached on the key issues of pay and the management of sickness absence.

BA said it will now attempt to reinstate as many flights as possible.
