Financial services firm Capital One’s has extended its online training to Europe and the rest of the world after the success of its ‘corporate university’ in the US.

The programme, available to the company’s 18,000 global and 2,500 UK employees of all levels, provides a central resource for training and development.

Employees access the ‘university’ via the company’s intranet, with the opportunity to attend courses on topics, including change management, business strategy and decision-making.

Siobhan Sheridan, head of Capital One University, said: “[This facility] demonstrates our commitment to our employees’ continuous learning and development and we have been pleased by its reception in the US.”
