Virtual fairs provide a media rich event, offering attendees a highly interactive environment whilst replicating aspects of a physical event.
Fairs are delivered via the internet with no special applications to download; attendees simply click a link and easily navigate the virtual environment.
Each Virtual Fair is specifically made to each client’s requirements, enabling it to look and feel as though the event is actually taking place.
The online jobs fair has a formal atmosphere whereas the newly launched Wedding Fair has a relaxed feel, with the floating silver balloons adding a little sparkle to the wedding theme!
Yoz Hughes, CareerSite.biz Ltd., is keen to share his enthusiasm for Virtual Fairs:
“We’ve enjoyed building this new virtual platform, one of the most important aspects of the development was to ensure that it looked true to a real life exhibition. This was achieved by building the exhibition halls and each stand in 3D, adding sound effects to replicate the background hum of a fair and creating a reception area to meet each visitor to the Virtual Fair. It was time consuming, we were so particular about each detail, but it has really worked well.”
Virtual Fair has already achieved the success of hosting a number of online job fairs for DMGT.
The latest fair to be launched is a Wedding Fair, for the Derby Telegraph.
Alison Baker, Associated Northcliffe Digital, says,” We are currently running three online Virtual Job Fairs, each of our clients are delighted with their interactive stands within the exhibition halls.”
