Also part of the Winter 2008 release, Cornerstone announced a new user interface, which offers a more intuitive and user-friendly design to increase employee engagement.
Cornerstone’s new user interface uses Web 2.0 technologies for the best experience available in the marketplace.
“User engagement is critical to fully realising the promise of talent management systems,” said James Holincheck, Research Vice President at Gartner. “The strongest benefits come when HR leaders, managers and employees have routine access to a unified view into all core processes, from learning and development to performance management and succession planning.”
Cornerstone OnDemand also announced enhancements to Cornerstone Extended Enterprise, which is used to deliver training and channel certification programs for a client’s extended enterprise of customers, partners, resellers and vendors.
The new enhancements include Guest User Authentication, which allows users to access designated pages and functions without logging into the system, enabling a business-to-consumer-like environment where users may search and browse for training prior to registering or purchasing the training offering.
Another enhancement includes Cornerstone Portal Builder, in which clients can build and embed custom portal pages within the application to enhance the user’s experience.
