Electrical retailer Currys is looking to recruit an extra 3,000 workers for its 550 stores throughout the festive season.

The retailer, part of DSGi, is anticipating a massive increase in demand for its electrical products in the run-up to Christmas.
The company has launched an online application tool as part of its recruitment drive. The website allows job seekers to apply for jobs immediately and view current vacancies.

DSGi’s workforce has grown by 11,000 in five years and further store openings are planned in the UK and internationally.
