A Hudson spokeswoman said it wanted to “be known” for its talent management services, which were performing better financially than other consulting services.
The closure of the outplacement service, which helped people who have left employment to find new jobs, has resulted in eight redundancies, the spokeswoman said. All contracts with employers will be completed, she added.
