Flexible reward is a business need and no longer a ‘nice-to-have’, according to consultancy Watson Wyatt.
Morag Prosser, a senior consultant at Watson Wyatt, said: “Clients are starting to see there is a real business opportunity in introducing flexible reward and communications systems.
“Indeed, the flexibility the technology provides employers and employees is almost just an added bonus.”
According to Prosser, more affordable IT is transforming companies’ approach to reward and benefits administration.
“The things that were barriers to introducing flex before have, through these new systems, become its advantages,” she said.
“Flex now allows companies – usually for the first time – to administer their whole reward platform in a single place. They can streamline their processes and make savings around the delivery and communication of employee reward programmes.”
