In my experience, it has been no olds barred

I sympathise with Geoff Evans’ situation (Letters, Personnel Today, 8 August), but as a 60-year-old HR professional, my experience is very different.

In the past 12 months, I have applied for at least four jobs and been interviewed for three.

It is true that I haven’t been appointed and my age may have something to do with this, although I cannot honestly say that this is true.
