Modules
The syllabus follows a progressive model enabling students to gain a broad base of leadership skills and an understanding of the functional components of management before moving into areas of specialist study and strategic management. The specialist element allows participants to further their studies in areas of individual interest and career aspirations. The strategic module is a key module which develops understanding of the management process integrating the core management studies and specialist studies.
The final ‘project’ stage provides the opportunity to apply the knowledge skills and understanding gained from the taught elements in an applied business context. For full-time students this can involve a period of placement with a local organisation. The project emphasises the analysis resolution of strategic issues within a practical and often, global business environment.
