MidlandHR’s complete HR, payroll, talent management and workforce planning solution, iTrent, has been chosen by Kent County Council (KCC) to provide a shared HR and payroll service for the East Kent region, including four District and Borough Councils.

MidlandHR will work in partnership with KCC to maximise economies of scale and efficiency, improve resilience and effectiveness of service delivery and reduce overall costs.

Managed by Dover DC and the Employee Services team of KCC, the iTrent platform will be rolled out in a phased approach beginning with the core HR and payroll modules, including Absence and Travel and aspects of Self Service.  This will be followed by iTrent Learning and Development, Recruitment and Health and Safety.

Implementation of the single iTrent solution is underway and the system is expected to go live in June 2010.
