High-street health and beauty retailer Boots has appointed Mike Cutt as director of HR.
He will join on 3 October from DIY retailer B&Q, where he was HR director for five years. His previous experience includes working for retail group Kingfisher and building society Nationwide.
Cutt, 47, will report directly to Boots chief executive Richard Baker.

Baker said: “Mike Cutt brings with him a wealth of experience and is a passionate champion of people issues. He is well known in the HR world and will be a great addition to our team.”
Cutt has featured regularly in Personnel Today’s Top 40 Power Players, an annual barometer of the HR profession’s most influential people.
