Your correspondent (Personnel Today, 5 October) said that he’s not found it difficult to revise his organisation’s procedures to accommodate the new dispute resolution regulations. It would appear he’s not alone.
Our research, among more than 1,100 employers, showed widespread support for the new regulations, with 40 per cent expecting them to reduce the number of tribunal cases, and only 13 per cent predicting an increase.

Only time will tell if this will prove correct. But, on the strength of our research, we would agree with your correspondent’s conclusion that the new regulations will not bring Armageddon for employers.
