ODS expands team following business success

by Personnel Today 6 May 2008
by Personnel Today 6 May 2008

Innovative public sector consultancy Organisation Development Services has expanded its team following a record start to 2008.

The three-year-old business, which specialises in organisation development and change management consultancy, has won contracts worth more than £500,000 since November 2007.

To support the growth of the business, ODS partners Carol Brooks and Donna Bradshaw have recruited three new people to their Manchester-based team.

Sarah Cheesmond, formerly Director of the Humber NHS Teaching Primary Care Trust Consortium, joined in March as a senior organisation development consultant.

A highly experienced NHS Director, she brings a wealth of expertise in multi-agency working – a specialism of ODS.

Sarah also has an impressive academic track record, including an MBA in Public Service from Birmingham University.

Stuart Taylor, organisation development consultant, joins the team in May from his current role at NHS National Workforce Projects.

Karen Hughes, who joined in March as office administrator, from Manchester Business School, completes the seven-strong team.

Carol Brooks said: “We are thrilled to celebrate such a fantastic start to the year.

“One of our most significant achievements is that we are now beginning to win competitive tenders against far bigger and more established consultancies – a sign that our reputation is growing within this specialist but highly competitive field.”

Donna Bradshaw said: “Sarah, Stuart and Karen will all play an important role in expanding the capacity of the business to support our future success.  We are delighted to welcome them on board.”
