Juliet Amos has become HR director at the University of Teesside. Amos was previously head of employment services at the University of Northumbria in Newcastle.

The Employment Lawyers Association has elected Barry Clarke as the next chairman. Clarke is head of the employment team at Russell Jones & Walker in Cardiff. He will take over from Raymond Jeffers.

Marina Meehan has been appointed as learning and development manager at PayPal Dublin, part of the eBay group. Meehan was previously interim HR director at software company Sage Ireland.
