On the move

Arnold Wagner, director of HR at Smiths Group engineering company, has been appointed as a non-executive director on the board of the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority, a nuclear decommissioning and fusion research body. He was formerly director of group personnel at support services group Bunzl.

Jayne Pellatt has joined procurement adviser Efficio Consulting as an HR manager. She will focus on setting up the HR infrastructure, including recruitment, performance evaluation and day-to-day employee relations. Pellatt was previously UK recruiting manager for A T Kearney, management consultants.
