Paul Turner, general manager (people) at West Bromwich Building Society, has been appointed a visiting fellow to the University of Central England (UCE), Birmingham. Turner will provide consultancy advice to assist the UCE’s business school in developing a new ‘people factor forum’, and expanding leadership programmes, including coaching and mentoring.

Massimo Macarti has been appointed chief of HR at Canon Europe, image technology provider. Macarti was HR director at Canon Italia.
