Vicky Best has been appointed as the new HR director for the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the body responsible for promoting public access to official information and protecting personal information. Her responsibilities include developing a new HR strategy focusing on recruitment, reward, equality and diversity and staff development.

The National Archives at Kew has appointed Mark Lamb as its director of HR and organisational development. Lamb will help deliver a change management programme.
