Manufacturing firm and retailer Aliaxis has appointed Claire Silvester as UK human resources director. She will be responsible for HR across all eight of the brand’s companies, including Hunter Plastics and Greenwood Air Management. Previously, Silvester was HR manager at Marley Plumbing and Drainage.

Eric Sandison has recently moved to construction group CHAP as group HR manager after 25 years with the Scottish Prison Service. In his new role, he will be responsible for introducing all aspects of HR. Previously, Sandison was HR manager at Peterhead Prison.
St Barnabas Hospices has appointed Kevin Noble to head of HR. He will be tasked with personnel, payroll, training and volunteer functions, developing staff and volunteers. Previously, Noble was an HR manager at learning disabilities organisation MCCH.
