On the move: Denise Keating, Ruth Smyth and Andrea Kane

Insurance company BGL Group has appointed Denise Keating as group HR and communications director. Her remit is to deliver people and communication strategies that drive business success. Previously, she was HR, IT and clinical governance board director at healthcare provider Craegmoor Healthcare.

Magazine publisher Hachette Filipacchi has appointed Ruth Smyth as HR director. She will be responsible for all HR functions within the UK business. Smyth has spent the previous seven years at media firm Getty Images as vice-president of HR and facilities.

Andrea Kane has joined computer hardware manufacturer Belkin International as vice-president of HR. Most recently, she was vice-president and chief talent officer at fire detection systems company Tyco Fire and Security.
