Pub company Spirit Group has announced the appointment of Jayne Mee as HR director. She is responsible for the 40,000 employees working within Spirit’s 2,000 pubs and its head office in Burton-on-Trent.
Vicky Wright will join Watson Wyatt in June having recently left Ernst & Young, where she was leader of the firm’s performance and reward consulting team. Based in London, she joins as a partner in the firm’s growing human capital consulting group.

Tracey Walters is leaving Brent Council after four years to join the British Transport Police as the new head of leadership and diversity. She joined the council in July 2001 to take up an HR post, and was promoted to head up the council’s new corporate diversity team.
Arbitration service Acas has appointed Dr Duncan Lewis as its professor of workplace futures. He and Acas will undertake a number of research projects, including studies on ethnicity and workplace bullying, and management and employee behaviours.
