Working Links, the public-private partnership specialising in helping long-term unemployed people into work, has put its 50,000th jobseeker back into employment.
Working Links was formed in 2000 as a partnership between Jobcentre Plus, Manpower and management and IT consultancy Cap Gemini.

Gordon Cumming, 40, from Glasgow, has just started his new job with Manpower at Hewlett Packard in Erskine after seven years of unemployment.
Working Links was founded to address the issues facing long term unemployed people. Its consultants find practical solutions to social exclusion and discrimination in the labour market, such as transport, childcare, clothing, interview coaching and CV drafting.
