Am I the only one to think that The Apprentice – the BBC’s reality show in which 14 candidates slug it out for a six-figure salary job with Sir Alan Sugar – comes over as a graduate milk round assessment centre? And a poor one (or at least poor candidates) at that – all vying with each other to impress, and completely failing to show any application of the previous high-flying experience they are all supposed to have.
