Totaljobs Group (TJG) has landed a top spot on the coveted 2008 ‘Best Workplaces in the UK’ list, confirming it is officially a great place to work.
The list was produced by the Great Place to Work Institute and took into consideration a set of demanding criteria including company credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie.
Employees from TJG were asked to complete a questionnaire which revealed that 82% of respondents agreed that TJG was a great place to work, over 90% said that they were made welcome when they joined the organisation and a staggering 93% thought TJG had a friendly working environment.
This sought after accolade came at the same time totaljobs.com, the UK’s biggest commercial recruitment website, asked their 2 million unique jobseekers what they really thought of totaljobs.
The online consumer satisfaction survey revealed that 82% of jobseekers would recommend totaljobs.com; more than 75% found applying for jobs easy and over half rated the jobs advertised on totaljobs.com to be of good quality.
TJG Chief Operating Officer, Shobhan Gajjar said:
“It’s an extremely proud moment for the company and this award is for all our staff at every level. It’s no coincidence that totaljobs is the UK’s leading recruitment website and has also been recognised as a great place to work.
“The winning culture that underpins everything totaljobs.com does has been pinnacle to our success; which lies in our ability to ensure recruiters hire the right candidates and jobseekers find the right job”.
