The
Communication Workers Unions (CWU) has dismissed talk of possible postal strike
action in the run-up to Christmas.
Dave
Ward, the deputy general secretary of the CWU said there would be no service
disruption over the festive season, describing rumours of impending industrial
action as speculation.
Unofficial
strikes hit the capital and parts of the South East in October, with the unions
unhappy over London weighting and changes to working conditions.
